Valley Medical Group was established in the Lompoc Valley in 1960 by three local physicians who decided to pool their resources and talents to form the first medical group of its kind in Lompoc. It was started in order to bring much needed primary care and surgical services to the Valley. As the years have passed and more physicians have moved to the area. Valley Medical Group has gradually grown, having reached its current size of eleven physicians. Our purpose remains the same: to provide the best possible medical care available in the Lompoc Valley to you and your family.

The physicians of Valley Medical Group provide care in the following specialties: Family Practice (including Obstetrics), Internal Medicine, and General Surgery.

Family Practice physicians provide care for a wide variety of age groups, from newborn to elderly,as well as a wide variety of types of problems. Family Physicians also emphasize preventative care including well child care and immunizations, and well woman care. Four of our Family Physicians also provide matumity care.

Internal Medicine physicians specialize in the non-surgical care of adult patients. Our internists typically take care of more complicated medical patients, often those with multiple medical problems. They also have expertise in geriatrics and in-hospital intensive care. They provide preventative care as well.

General Surgeons provide a wide variety of surgical care, both elective and emergency surgeries. They perform many different types of cancer surgery, as well as routine surgeries such as gallbladder, appendectomy, and hernia. frequently via minimally invasive state-of-the-art laparoscopic techniques. In addition, they provide colon cancer detection and screening by colonoscopy.

In addition to the above-mentioned physician services, Valley Medical Group offers several other services including bone density testing, cardiovascular imaging, an aesthetics center, a counseling center, in-office lab and Protime clinic.
